The great Alberto Tomba always felt right at home on the slopes in Alpe Lusia; he particularly loved training on a very steep variant of the Fiamme Oro 2 slope, which has been renamed "Canalone Tomba" – Tomba Gorge, in his honour. Come experience the thrill of a ski run for champions! Just take the cable car lift to Le Cune and take off on an exhilarating descent with breath-taking scenery.

Spend an incredible day on skis spanning the boarder of Veneto and Trentino, in a continuous series of breath-taking views, charming wood lodges and beautiful Dolomite peaks. The tour covers a distance of about 60 km, skis on foot, and crosses the entire ski resort of Alpe Lusia /San Pellegrino. The Ski Tour of Emotions can be undertaken by average skiers and starts from either Moena or Falcade.

Moena - Alpe Lusia

Moena (1184 m) is one of the most beautiful tourist resorts in the Val di Fassa, and it marks the perfect border with the nearby Val di Fiemme. It’s a lovely, very evocative village which stands out for the timeless elegance of the carefully preserved historical architecture in its centre. It’s no coincidence that Moena is referred to as the “Fairy of the Dolomites”. World class hotel accommodations feature a wide range of services. Furthermore, numerous events offer visitors options for an even more active holiday, including cultural initiatives, musical evenings and culinary events.

The ski facilities and fantastic scenic views in the Alpe Lusia/San Pellegrino resort are just a few minutes away by car or ski bus.

Passo San Pellegrino

Passo San Pellegrino (1918 m) is a wide Alpine pass located halfway between Moena and Falcade, a true winter sports and snow paradise. At this ski resort everything is within reach thanks to modern hotel facilities and convenient car parks with direct access to the lifts. The slopes are suited to everyone, from beginners to great skiing champions, and there is a well-equipped play park for kids.

The cross-country ski loop at the Centro Fondo Alochet is very popular, with tracks immersed in the splendour of the forests, and the SanPe Snowpark for freeski lovers and snowboarders.

Falcade (1100 m) is a charming village in the Belluno Dolomites that lies in the splendid Valle del Biois. It represents the Venetian side of the Alpe Lusia/San Pellegrino Ski Area, the arrival point for the famous lovers’ slope that boasts a long tradition as a tourist destination suited to families and children. A major attraction here is the cross country facility called Centro Fondo Pietro Scola, which winds around the well-known Piana di Falcade and is also set up for night skiing.

There is a lot to do besides skiing, like ice skating, snow mobile rides and snow-tubing. Art lovers should definitely visit the museum of the late local sculptor, Augusto Murer.

Soraga Dolomiti Superski

Soraga (1210 m) is considered one of the oldest settlements in the Val di Fassa and throughout the years it has renewed itself and grown into a beautiful location that maintains its peculiarly typical Ladino quality.  The village is located on the slopes of the Monzoni. This is a kingdom of tranquillity and relaxation, where a growing number of enthusiasts can take fantastic snowshoe walks.

Nordic skiers will find plenty of tracks behind the hotels, while Alpine skiers can take a short bus ride for easy access to the nearby slopes at Alpe Lusia and Passo San Pellegrino.

You can go down the slide on the gentle slopes of Bellamonte, on a path of 2100 m in length, completely immersed in the snowy woods! Just take the first cablecar "Castelir-The Fassane" and go up in the locality "Fassane", at an altitude of 1785 meters, and we'll give you the thrill of slipping on the soft snow, lulled by the sounds of the forest and caressed by the cool winter breeze.

The ski area’s culinary art is a perfect blend of Veneto and Trentino cuisine. Simple but delicious food can be enjoyed in the many chalets along the slopes with spectacular views of the surrounding Dolomites. For skiers is a must a stop at Chalet Valbona (Alpe Lusia), Chalet Cima Uomo and Baita Paradiso (Passo San Pellegrino), Capanna Passo Valles (Falcade).

On the top of Col Margherita there is an ARTVA slope equipped to simulate rescue operations involving one or more victims of an avalanche, who can be located searching with the ARTVA device: in a fenced off area 6 containers holding special ARTVA transmitters are placed at various depths and inclinations; they can then be activated by a central command located at the entrance to the testing area.
